EPIX, Inc, manufacturer of imaging boards and software for the PC, announces the release of XCAP V2.0 image analysis software. Version 2.0 supports Win 2000, as well as Win 95/98/NT. Version 2.0 includes many new image analysis features and supports additional cameras. Highlights of these new features can be viewed at www.epixinc.com/xcap.htm.

XCAP will now be available in three different versions: XCAP-Lite which will still be included at no charge with the purchase of an EPIXÒ imaging board; XCAP-Std(formerly known as XCAP); and, the upcoming XCAP-Plus which will include "high end" features such as support for the StreamStor disk subsystem.

UPGRADE PRICING

Users of XCAP-Lite may upgrade from V1.0 to V2.0 for $95.00 plus $10.00 s/h (UPS ground U.S.). A new CD will be shipped along with a new 12 character ID code. XCAP-Lite may also be downloaded from our ftp site but will require the new ID code for activation. Manuals are provided as html documents; printed versions are optionally available. Customers who purchased a PIXCIÒ imaging board after 1 Oct 1999 may obtain a new 12 character ID code and download XCAP-Lite V2.0 at no charge.

Users of XCAP-Std may upgrade from V1.0 to V2.0 for $395.00 plus $10.00 s/h (UPS ground U.S.). A new CD will be shipped along with a new 12 character ID code. Printed manuals are included. V2.0 of XCAP-Std may be downloaded but will require a new ID code for activation. Note: With a new XCAP-Std ID code, XCAP-Std V2.0 can be activated using a XCAP V1.0 authorization key.

Upgrades may be purchased using a VISA, Master Card, or Discover Card, by company check, or company purchase order for companies with established credit. Please submit upgrade requests along with the current 12 character ID code for the software being upgraded. Upgrades will not be processed without this ID code. Include company name, recipient’s name, and complete shipping and billing address. If paying via credit card, include card number, expiration date, and cardholder’s name.
