Four Camera Frame Grabber For PCI Express
The PIXCI® SI4 frame grabber supports 1 to 4 SILICON VIDEO® cameras. Cameras may be identical or mixed, and can operate simultaneously or independently. The PIXCI® SI4 can expose four cameras from one trigger or can use 4 triggers for 4 cameras.
The PIXCI® SI4 frame grabber offers:
- 1 Gigabyte per second burst data transfer rate.
- Up to 700 Megabyte per second sustained data transfer from cameras to x4 PCI Express bus.
- Four Camera Control Dialogs - independent or shared – exposure, bit depth, gain, frame rate, AOI, etc.
- Free-run mode for maximum frame rate sequence capture.
- Control mode for triggered image capture.
- Quantity one price $ 1995 .00 with XCAP-Lite imaging program.
The PIXCI SI4 is a plug-n-play frame grabber requiring no hardware setup or adjustment. Load the software, install the board, connect the cameras, and begin to capture images.
The XCAP imaging program provides interactive display windows and controls for multiple cameras. If the cameras are all the same model, XCAP can allow control of all cameras from a single common control dialog. The XCAP-Std program allows simultaneous use of the PIXCI SI4 with other EPIX® frame grabbers supporting different camera models. XCAP-Std offers video-to-disk capture, subject to the performance of the host computer’s RAID array.
Programmer’s libraries (XCLIB) and image processing subroutines (PXIPL) are available from EPIX, Inc. for solving the most difficult particle tracking, machine vision measurement, inspection, image sequence analysis, and flow analysis tasks. Third party software is also available.
Solutions and Support: EPIX, Inc. has been providing imaging solutions and support for OEM machine vision manufacturers and engineers since 1984. EPIX, Inc. assembles complete imaging systems with cameras, frame grabbers, high- performance PCI Express motherboards, and RAID arrays for video-to-disk capture. EPIX® imaging systems, custom-built to your specifications, feature Intel motherboards and processors. The optional TTL Module minimizes false triggers when using a TTL trigger with a cable longer than one foot. The TTL MODULE converts the TTL trigger into a differential signal for reliable triggering with up to 200 feet of cable. The TTL MODULE also can generate a TTL strobe from the attached PIXCI® board. Compatible with PIXCI® CL1, CL2, CL3SD, D2X, D3X, SI, and SI4.
