Note 18. The capture taps (channels) must be reduced to allow operation within the modes supported by the PIXCI® EB1 Frame Grabber. Consider a PIXCI® EL1, PIXCI® E4, PIXCI® E8, or PIXCI® E4G2-2F frame grabber as an alternative, supporting all of the camera's Camera Link modes.

Note 19. The PIXCI® EL1DB Frame Grabber's capture bandwidth is limited by the computer's PCI Express x1 bus/interface. The bandwidth is sufficient for a single camera, but may not be sufficient for multiple cameras sharing a single PIXCI® EL1DB Frame Grabber. (The PCI Express x1 interface has, on most computers, an effective maximum bandwidth of approximately 190 MByte/sec.) Consider a PIXCI® EL1DB(Rev7+), PIXCI® E4DB, PIXCI® EL1DB(Rev7+), or PIXCI® E8DB frame grabber, using the PCI Express x1 Gen 2, PCI Express x4, PCI Express x1 Gen 2, or PCI Express x8 bus/interface, as an alternative.

Note 20. The PIXCI® ECB2 Frame Grabber's capture bandwidth is limited by the computer's ExpressCard/54 bus/interface. The bandwidth is sufficient for a single camera, but may not be sufficient for multiple cameras sharing a single PIXCI® ECB2 Frame Grabber. (The ExpressCard (PCI Express x1) interface has, on most computers, an effective maximum bandwidth of approximately 190 MByte/sec.)
